incite Design Studio in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking a Job Captain to join our team. The position is multi-faceted and include facility programming, design, documentation and construction administration responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have an architecture degree from an accredited program, licensed or pursuing their architecture licensure, be trained in Revit, have knowledge of building codes, and have strong technical and design skills.
iDS has offices located in the Lafayette Square area of downtown St. Louis, Downtown Overland Park, Kansas, and in the heart of the Crossroads Art District in Downtown Kansas City, Missouri. iDS is a dynamic, hands-on studio where team members are asked to work on all aspects of a job. Our projects include preK-12 educational facility design, higher education, and municipal facility design. Job Description
Job Captain
· Able to play a leadership role in all aspects of a project’s design such as programming, design charrettes, and plan development
· Able to coordinate with consultants and lead a team in generating a set of construction documents
· Able to assist with construction administration tasks, including pay application review, site visits, and change orders
Qualifications
· Degree in Architecture from an accredited university
· Technical knowledge in Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
· Pursuing or have architectural licensure
