Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and creative Architectural Designer with 0–2 years of experience to join our Kansas City team. This role is ideal for upcoming graduates or early-career designers who are eager to learn, contribute, and grow within an engaging, mentorship-driven environment. You will support project teams through programming, design development, documentation, and construction administration—gaining experience across a diverse range of educational, higher education, and municipal projects.
Support project teams in all phases of design, including programming, design charrettes, concept development, and drafting.
Assist in producing high-quality drawings, 3D models, and presentations using Revit and other design software.
Participate in consultant coordination and contribute to the development of construction documents.
Assist with construction administration tasks such as site visits, field reports, submittal review, and documentation updates.
Research building materials, systems, and codes to support team decision-making.
Collaborate within a studio culture that encourages learning, exploration, and hands-on problem solving.
qualifications
Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program (or pursuing licensure).
0–2 years of professional experience in an architectural setting.
Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial.
Strong technical, organizational, and design skills.
Understanding of basic building codes and architectural standards (coursework/academic experience acceptable).
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
Desire to learn all aspects of the architectural profession, from early design to construction.
