Job Description 

We are seeking a motivated and creative Architectural Designer with 0–2 years of experience to join our Kansas City team. This role is ideal for upcoming graduates or early-career designers who are eager to learn, contribute, and grow within an engaging, mentorship-driven environment. You will support project teams through programming, design development, documentation, and construction administration—gaining experience across a diverse range of educational, higher education, and municipal projects.

  • Support project teams in all phases of design, including programming, design charrettes, concept development, and drafting.

  • Assist in producing high-quality drawings, 3D models, and presentations using Revit and other design software.

  • Participate in consultant coordination and contribute to the development of construction documents.

  • Assist with construction administration tasks such as site visits, field reports, submittal review, and documentation updates.

  • Research building materials, systems, and codes to support team decision-making.

  • Collaborate within a studio culture that encourages learning, exploration, and hands-on problem solving.

qualifications

  • Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program (or pursuing licensure).

  • 0–2 years of professional experience in an architectural setting.

  • Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial.

  • Strong technical, organizational, and design skills.

  • Understanding of basic building codes and architectural standards (coursework/academic experience acceptable).

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.

  • Desire to learn all aspects of the architectural profession, from early design to construction.
