CHARLIE RICHARD OUTDOOR SPORTS COMPLEX | ATHLETIC STADIUM

Location: Baker University

Incite Design Studio was hired in 2021 to complete and implement a Master Plan for the Baker University Athletics Department. Phase I of the implementation included construction of new baseball, softball, and soccer facilities at the Baker University Outdoor Sports Complex . The improvements included a new baseball training building that includes restroom and concession facilities that serve the new artificial turf baseball and softball fields. Additional improvements include new backstops, dugouts, lighting improvements and seating. The existing track was also re-surfaced as part of this phase and the throwing events were relocated.

Baker University envisioned a premium athletic complex that would rival any of those of their competitors. Phase II, once completed will do just that. Phase II will consist of a new state of the art building that will be the center piece of the complex, providing a central link to all four sports fields. The building will provide elevated sight lines to all of the sports fields via a luxury club event space. In addition, the building will house locker and training rooms for the athletes.
