Duane has been creating architecture for twenty-four years. Having formal training as an Artist and an Architect has informed his projects with inspirational yet practical designs.  He is inspired by the creativity of children and their joy of learning and inquiry. Designing spaces that inform the students love of exploration is what motivates him. The best day of any project is the first day, when he has the opportunity to watch students using the space that was designed as a team.  When he is not designing inspiring educational spaces, Duane enjoys photography, art and carpentry, emphasizing his belief that architecture is the last humanist profession.
