Maryville High

iDS was hired by the Maryville R-II School District to assist them with the design of significant additions to Maryville High School. In addition to the design iDS spearheaded the successful bond campaign which was approved by the voters in April of 2014.

The additions to the Maryville High School include a new performing arts center, pre-function space, as well as a new practice gymnasium. The performing arts center is state of the art in regards to amenities, providing the fine arts department with a brand new set of learning tools. The theater contains 700 seats for performances, a full fly space, multiple catwalks, top notch rigging and lighting, as well as support spaces including a green room and work shop space.

An elevator, with access to the high school's old academic wing, was also added to the scope of the project later in design. This element is beneficial to the school's function as they further grow and expand. Other renovations include the creation of secured entrances for the high school and votec center.
