The events and meeting coordinators of ONYX wanted a more personal work environment than the offices they once occupied. After purchasing the old Metcalf Bank Building at 75th Street and Metcalf Avenue, affectionately referred to as "the spaceship", they acquired iDS as their architect to convert the triangular shaped work space in to something both fun and functional.
iDS listened to the needs of the owner and employees and presented them with a design that incorporates creative elements and utilizes every square inch of their unique structure. As much as possible, iDS utilized existing furniture and fixtures. Even the bank vault remains, transformed into a restroom.
