WINFIELD R-IV SCHOOL DISTRICT | LONG RANGE FACILITY PLAN

Location: Winfield R-IV School District

Incite was hired in 2019 to complete a long range facility plan for the Winfield School District. The goal was to listen to community needs, identify immediate and future improvements to facilities, create a multi-phase improvement plan, incorporate recommendations and changes in enrollment. After community and district meetings, iDS developed a plan for district improvement projects.

Additionally, iDS worked with the district on bond support for Proposition K.I.D.S. that passed in April of 2020. The bond issue allowed for various upgrades to be completed throughout the district. These upgrades include a new 53,500 square foot Middle School next to the Winfield High School campus. The current Middle School will turn into the Primary School with minor renovations to create additional bathrooms and teaching spaces. Security upgrades will also be completed, including a secured vestibule at the existing middle school.

A new pre-engineered metal building Vo-Ag addition with two classrooms at Winfield High School which will provide open teaching spaces and additional storage inside the existing High School. Additionally, new sports locker rooms will be added on to the existing multi-purpose building.
